There is a long list of excuses people have given me for why they waited so long to get headshots taken – they wanted to lose weight first, they hated their last headshot and were afraid of a repeat performance, they weren’t comfortable in front of a camera, and the list goes on. I’m excited to show you that it can be a much easier - and even fun! - experience than you’ve been conjuring in your head. A great headshot is just good light, thoughtful posing and an eye for who the client really is. So, no more waiting!

A Love Letter to the Self-Conscious
You feel awkward in front of the camera, I can relate. There is a reason I live behind the lens. Maybe you are not comfortable with your weight, or your smile or you never know what to do with your hands. I feel the same way when I have my own headshots taken. And it never helped that I always ended up with a photographer who didn’t understand how to photograph plus size women (see my article in The Curvy Fashionista). I have experience with all body types and levels of awkwardness! So, fear not, we will get amazing images of you. (PS – you are probably not as awkward as you think you are.)
