The election is next Tuesday, November 5th. I know we are all so exhausted and tired of the attack ads, the text messages, the constant reminder of how divided this country really is. I, for one, am emotionally and physically drained from just caring so much <-Empath here.

I'm voting Kamala Harris in this election. And while I could go on for pages upon pages about why Trump is a dangerous choice, I want to focus instead on why I think Harris/Walz is actually an exciting choice!

1. Kamala has actual policy plans to help lower costs, cut taxes for the middle class while making the ultra wealthy pay their fair share of taxes. She has plans to help first time home owners, and invest in small business owners (like me!). You can actually see her plans in detail at kamalaharris.com. Don't be lazy, do the reading.

2. It's long overdue for the US to elect a woman to the highest office in the nation. Harris has the education and experience and the right person at the right time to set an example to our future generations that America is for those who work hard and serve its people with integrity. Not for those who commit crimes, lie, and belittle their way to the top.

3. Harris's campaign is one of inclusivity, common ground, order, and frankly, JOY. I'm so tired of hateful rhetoric and doom. I'm tired of me and everyone I know having perpetual anxiety over the state of the world. It's time to move forward and change the conversation about what America used to be and make it a conversation about what is possible to achieve. There is work to do on our healthcare system, immigration system and affordable housing. Let's stop slinging insults and get to work! I'm confident this is possible under Harris.

It's a challenge for me to write this post and not list all the reasons Trump is dangerous and unhinged. But I'm working putting the positive vibes out there during the countdown to this election. Be the change!
